You Love Your Kids More Than Anything, But You're Feeling Overwhelmed.

You constantly ask yourself, “Am I a good parent? Am I doing this right?”

You’re feeling conflicted and confused by all of the parenting advice you find online.

You try to gentle parent, but it’s hard to be patient when you’re feeling so tense.

You feel more like a housekeeper and personal assistant than a partner and a parent

You aren’t sure if you have hobbies or an identity anymore outside of being a mother

You don’t remember the last time you went to the bathroom or ate a meal in peace

You haven’t been able to be present and enjoy the joyful moments like you want to.

You want to be in touch with who you are again.

You want to feel joy and connection with your family.

You want to be able to relax in your own home.

You want to feel confident in the decisions you make.

Children cannot thrive when parents are not emotionally well. You need to learn to take care of yourself in order to take care of your family. I will help you work through the emotional barriers holding you back from being the kind of parent you want to be.

Rachael Freni, LCSW

Although I worked with families before becoming a parent, having children made me especially interested in working with caregivers. Throughout the time I worked with children in community mental health, I found that children made more progress socially and emotionally when their parents were open to growth. I was able to make the biggest impact when parents were willing to work towards change within themselves. I now work with parents directly to try to prevent generational trauma from the top down.
